School’s out as CEO director calls it a day print email

Mr Denis Higgins, Director of Catholic Education Sandhurst was officially farewelled at a retirement dinner held in his honour on Friday evening, June 18.
More than 430 guests gathered to acknowledge the significant contribution that Mr Higgins has made to Catholic Education in particular and education in general during the past 40 years.
After 14 years at the helm of Catholic Education it seems appropriate that the final word should come from the man himself as he reflects on a career well served…

30-year milestone celebrated print email

ANYONE who’s attended the 11am Mass at Bendigo’s Sacred Heart Cathedral on a Sunday can attest to the magnificent Cathedral Choir and organ music.
Each Sunday, and at many other times throughout the year, worshippers’ senses are lifted by hymns of praise by the choir, which for the past 30 years has been under the professional tutelage of choirmaster and organist, John Hogan.
